Yercaud is a small hill station in Salem district in Tamil Nadu, India. Untouched, Unexplored it has a beautiful charm. Ideal for a weekend getaway, the drive from Bangalore to Salem is about 3.5 hrs and from Salem to Yercaud is 1 hr. Private and government buses are in abundance, though if you are traveling in large group, you could also look at booking private cabs.
